The cottage was nicely decorated with attention to detail, creating a cozy and romantic atmosphere. the host was friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. the location was convenient, being close to the main street and offering easy access to nearby attractions.
One drawback was the proximity to a busy road, which made parking a bit stressful due to the traffic. Although we couldn't hear the passing cars inside the cottage, it still took away from the overall tranquility of our romantic escape.

The cottage was cozy and the rooms were beautifully decorated, giving it a warm and inviting feel. As a guest with children, I loved the fact that there were two bathrooms - one with a bath or shower, and another with just a shower. It made getting ready in the morning a breeze, with no fighting over bathroom time!
I personally didn't particularly like that there was only one bathroom with a bath or shower. But hey, that's just my preference.

The bathroom with a bath or shower in Amelia Cottage was a dream come true for a tired traveler like me. After a long day exploring Battle, sinking into the warm water was pure bliss. I felt like I was being pampered in my own little sanctuary.
Personally, I preferred the bathroom with a bath or shower over the one with just a shower. But hey, that's just me!

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The house is super cozy and beautifully decorated with all the facilities you could ever need. The kitchen is jaw-dropping, with multiple ovens and plenty of working space. The living room with its electric fireplace blew warm air into the room, making it so nice and cozy for winter. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, even standing by the road to help us park. Basic needs like soap and toilet paper were well stocked, and we were pleasantly surprised to find milk, cookies, tea, and coffee provided. We were not expecting the size and comfort of the house, and the photos definitely don't do it justice. We had a fantastic stay!

The garden at this holiday home is like a hidden oasis, where I found myself lost in nature's embrace. It was so enchanting that I half expected to stumble upon fairies and unicorns frolicking amongst the flowers.
Limited bathroom options.
